Rayleigh, Rochford and District Association for Voluntary Service (RRAVS) has been established in the Rochford District since 1988, and has been the catalyst and conduit for community activity. This includes establishing Wyvern Community Transport, the carers support organisation, Supporting Carers and Families Together (SCAFT), and providing valuable services to the community across a wide range of ages from the very young, to adults of all ages. It also coordinates the annual Families-in-Need Appeal together with a Christmas Carol service at Holy Trinity Church, Rayleigh.

RRAVS is an umbrella organisation representing the interests of all voluntary and charitable groups in the Rochford District. We are the link between the voluntary, community and statutory sectors. We provide support, and advise on all aspects of services provided to the community.

We do this through our Core Services and Volunteer Centre.
